The first Maharashtra State Level Best College Librarian award given to
Prof. Dr. Shahaji Shankarao Waghmode, Librarian of Sonubhau Baswant
College, Shahapur, Thane district on the occasion of the birth
anniversary of Former President of Maharashtra State College Librarian
Federation and Former Librarian of Rajarshi Shahu College, Latur, Prof.
V.R. Dadge on September 1, 2023 at Rajarshi Shahu College Latur. This
award was given by Principal Anirudh Jadhav, the father of Latur
Pattern, and retired Senior Professor of Library and Information Science
Department of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Prof. Dr. Rajendra
Kumbhar to Prof. Dr. Shahaji Shankarao Waghmode was felicitated with a
shawl, wreath and badge of honor.
On this occasion, Dr. US Jadhav,
Librarian of Bidar (Karnataka) University, Dr. Govind Ghar, President of
Jayakranti College Latur, Prof. Dr. Jagdish Kulkarni, Director of Swami
Ramanand Teertha Marathwada University Knowledge Resource Center, Vice
Principal Dr. Shinde, Prof. VN Mishra, Senate member Dr. Vishnu Pawar,

Best College Librarian award from Prof. V R Dadge Foundation, Latur. I
would like to thank all of you who believe in me and joined me in this
unforgettable journey.
