I am truly honored and humbled to receive The Bombay Science Librarian’s Association (BOSLA) – Koganuramath Best Librarian Award 2025, presented at C-DAC, Juhu on 23rd August 2025.
My heartfelt thanks to BOSLA for bestowing this prestigious recognition upon me. It was a moment of immense pride to receive the award in the gracious presence and by the hands of distinguished dignitaries — Dr. Aditya Kumar Sinha (Director, C-DAC), Dr. Dharmraj Veer (Former Director, KRC, BAMU), Dr. Suresh Jange (Librarian, Karnataka University), Dr. Subhash Chavan (BOSLA Chairman & Director, KRC, SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai), Mr. Surwase (BOSLA Vice-Chairman), Dr. Kalbande (BOSLA General Secretary), and Mr. Ram Singh (Librarian, C-DAC) — along with many esteemed LIS professionals, colleagues, and students.This award is not only a personal honor but also a source of inspiration to continue contributing with dedication to the growth of Library and Information Science. I remain deeply grateful to my mentors, colleagues, students, and well-wishers for their constant encouragement and support throughout my journey.
This recognition further strengthens my resolve to work with greater commitment towards advancing librarianship and serving the academic and research community.
